Putney, a trained and licensed graduate of The Protocol School of Washington®—the nation’s only etiquette and protocol school accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), a U.S. Department of Education–recognized agency. Karene A. Putney is a respected authority in business etiquette, leadership presence, and intercultural protocol. As President and CEO of Etiquette Etiquette®, she leads a premier consulting firm offering professional etiquette and protocol training for youth, adults, and seniors across academic, nonprofit, and government sectors.

Karene is a trained and licensed graduate of The Protocol School of Washington® (PSOW) and a certified trainer in Intercultural Etiquette and International Protocol. She uses official PSOW training materials to guide her programs, ensuring the highest standards of professional instruction and global protocol.

She has delivered impactful workshops and leadership training for universities, colleges, Jack and Jill chapters, and the Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks’ Summer Passport Program, empowering participants through polished communication, dining etiquette, and executive presence.

Formerly the owner of Learn Love Childcare, LLC, Karene built a strong foundation in education, coaching, and public speaking. She brings over a decade of experience in mentoring and refining the presence of youth and professionals alike.

Karene is a proud member of the Protocol & Diplomacy International – Protocol Officers Association (PDI-POA) and is affiliated with the National Speakers Association (NSA), and the NSA-DC Speaker Academy. She also serves as a certified volunteer with the University of Maryland Extension (UME) 4-H Program.

Karene is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages master etiquette, develop confidence, and carry themselves with poise and professionalism in every setting.
